Saros and the Freie Universität Berlin will once again be at the premier venue for software engineering research this year. ICSE 2011 takes place in Hawaii.
The organisers are now recognising plug-in development as a legitimate and distinct area of concern in software engineering. If you're lucky enough to be there yourself, go along to the inaugural "Developing Tools as Plug-ins" workshop, where Prof. Lutz Prechelt will be presenting our paper on a few fundamental concerns facing plug-in developers our group learned from developing Saros.
The date is Saturday, May 28. Follow this link for the agenda: http://topi2011.inf.puc-rio.br/images/TOPIAgenda2011.pdf
