There are several ways to describe me. Some of my favourites are:
- Company founder and director
- Open source advocate
- Budding author
- Former academic
I'm originally a Brit, but I've been living in Berlin, Germany for several years. I came here to work as a research associate at Freie Universität Berlin, but I've since co-founded an IT company (Endocode) and become a published author.
Open source permeates almost everything I do. I use it. I write it. Endocode is a company based on it. Even my PhD, which I got from the University of Lincoln, UK in 2009, was written about the evolution of FLOSS (Free/Libre/Open Source Software).
