20 years of Linux

I’ve seen a few messages wishing happy birthday to the Linux kernel. I’m not sure how software can have a “birth”-day, but whatever. The Inquirer reminds us that today is the 20th anniversary of Linus Torvalds’s announcement to the world that his kernel was in existence and under development.
Which reminded me about the video I made entitled The Penguin and the Gnu, which outlines the history of Linux and its relationship with GNU. The transcript is available here.
